Community Tennis Associations
USTA Community Tennis Associations (CTAs) form the heartbeat of tennis growth—driven by passionate volunteers and operating as not-for-profit entities. These dedicated organizations play a crucial role in championing programs that nurture a love for tennis. In a community, tennis-related entities such as clubs, teaching professionals, after-school programs and public parks coexist, and CTAs serve as effective platforms to unify these diverse elements within the tennis ecosystem, supporting an active and engaged community.
CTAs act as entry points for individuals seeking to initiate their tennis journey, play more consistently or contribute to the sport. USTA Northern California proudly supports over 65 CTAs within the section and offers many benefits to CTAs, including low-cost insurance and grant eligibility.
