The Local Area Coordinator (LAC) is a pivotal volunteer role dedicated to supporting the USTA NorCal Adult Leagues program. As the primary point of contact for Adult Leagues captains and players across the section, LACs play a key role in interpreting and implementing USTA rules and Local League Area Regulations.

LACs are the go-to contact for questions, suggestions and grassroots problem-solving. They aid players in team placement, guide captains in team formation and even pave the way for new teams to hit the court. LACs work hand-in-hand with USTA NorCal staff on various league matters and are also a strong presence at the Adult Leagues championship events throughout the year.

Become a USTA NorCal Approved Court Monitor and be part of the excitement on the court! As a Court Monitor, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring fair and sportsmanlike play, keeping matches running smoothly, and assisting players with any on-court issues. This is an excellent entry point into the world of officiating, where you’ll work closely with our officiating team and help educate players on the rules and regulations of the game.
